I am interested in learning about the architecture and design of the Pixar graphics computer. Does anyone know of any good articles or papers on the design and architecture of the Pixar machine(s). I'd like to know what makes them architecturally unique from other computers. I am currently studying "graphics workhorses" and I need some info on the
Pixar machine(s). I am looking at normal specs such as microprocessor,
capabilities, price, programming, graphics/animation packages,etc...
