Announcing:

            DIANA: Software package for Digital Image ANAlysis
            ============================$=======$=====$$$=====

This program package is intended for people/organizations working with
satellite (LANDSAT/SPOT) scenes or aerial pictures.

Features:   (1) Menu driven (X-Windows supported soon)
            (2) Magnetic tape I/O for BIL, BSQ, X, DED and other formats
            (3) Geometric correction of inherent distortions
            (4) Scene editing (cutting, zooming etc) using mouse
            (5) Radiometry (filters, correlations, contrast enhancement)
            (6) Classification (Maximum-Likelihood, Minimum-Distance,
                  Two-Group-Linear-Discriminant, Cluster-Analysis)
            (7) Horizon and inclination analysis for stereo data
            (8) Interface to ERDAS

The program system currently runs on VAXen under VMS.  It is written in Pascal
and will ported to other operating systems (UN*X) on request.

Graphics:   VaxStations, One Graphics, AYDIN, others on request (graphics
            I/O in separate module for easy adaption to raster system)
