There was a posting some time ago which asked (more or less) about
monitors which could handle both 'computer video' and 'TV video'. A recent
reply mentioned the Mitsubishi "Diamond Scan".
This is mainly a confirmation. I also have a Diamond Scan (Mitsubishi
Color Monitor Model AUM-1371A), which is a pretty nifty monitor (at least as
far as I'm concerned). The Operation Manual contains the following statements:
QUOTE:
It is possible to superimpose RGB analog signal on a composite
video signal, e.g. VCR, TV tuner, etc.. The method is as on the
following 2 procedures:
a) Superimpose by feeding the composite video signal to the VIDEO
INPUT and adding on thru the 25 pin terminal the RGB analog
signal.
b) Superimpose by inputting both RGB analog signal and composite
video signal from the 25-pin terminal.

My recent experience with this monitor has been that "special" cabling is
needed to put this all together. Try calling MicroGraphics at
(312)939-0062 for info.
