I am interested in writing a simple PostScript driver for a graphic editor of mine and am wondering... how difficult is PostScript to write based on the following constraints... 1) primitive shapes -> lines, circles, etc. 2) text in Courier but different fonts and sizes 3) different grayscale fills 4) different line thicknesses and types (ie. dotted/dashed/solid) if the necessary code generator would be larger than 2000 lines of code... it would not be worth it but under that it would be very useful.... any solutions? suggestions? books/tutorials? quick intros?... thanks a shepherd's crook...
