This is not a flame, but in general, there seems to be a dominance of
articles requesting file format interchange programs. This type of
request is certainly valid, but it seems that comp.graphics is
overloaded with these articles. Either people are reluctant to
post "technical" articles as much as before, or they are just harder
to find. I therefore propose that someone (I don't know who is in
charge of such things) create a sub-group called comp.graphics.formats
where those who are interested in that sort of thing can post.
This would clean up comp.graphics and make life more normal again.
Send flames to /dev/null and useful suggestions to this group.
