Introduction:
Picasso is a color graphics editor for IBM PC-XT-AT-PS/2
computers and compatibles using VGA graphics hardware. It makes
full use of the 320w X 200h X 256 color mode of the VGA color
graphics adapter. The program reads and writes in the Sun Micro-
systems "rasterfile" format, enabling ease of transfer to other
image types. A PostScript converter is included so that drawings
may be printed (in grey-scale) on a PostScript compatible device.

Full use of VGA screen (menus are displayed only
when they are being used)
Full use of 256 out of 262,144 colors (with easy
palette modification)
Basic shapes

Fill patterns
Line patterns
Text/Font selection (uses Zsoft compatible bitmapped fonts)
Zoom

Cut, Copy, Paste, Rotate, Mirror, Flip, Scale, etc.
Files can be displayed directly on Sun workstation
'Slidshow' viewing program included

Picasso is a licensed product. Demo versions are available
with the load file function disabled. Registered copies are $65.00.
The Demo program may be copied and transferred without
restriction. The registered version may not be reproduced or altered
except for the legitimate storage of an archival copy to protect
against disk failure.
The program is provided by an individual (Mike Macgirvin).
The name 'Nerdware' is not yet registered as a business.

VGA graphics card (built-in to PS/2)

The program may be found in 'pub/DOS/VGA/picasso.arc'.
Set 'type binary' to transfer the file.
If you do not have a copy of 'arc.exe' to unarchive the
file, it may be found in 'pub/DOS/arc.exe'.
