CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS -------------------- The 1989 International Computer Music Conference will be held in Columbus, Ohio, on the campus of The Ohio State University, from 2-5 November, 1989. While the thrust of the conference will be computer music, the organizing committee is also interested in submissions of computer animation containing computer or electronic music soundtracks. This would include computer controlled MIDI instruments as well as pure computer generated sound. Successful submissions will be featured in a concert setting alongside other computer music pieces. Anyone wishing to participate in the computer animation part of the conference should send a tape in 3/4" format, along with a description of the techniques used to create both the graphics and music to: Dr. Thomas Wells School of Music The Ohio State University Columbus, OH 43210 Phone: (614) 292-7837 Electronic Mail: wells%eubie@osupyr.mast.ohio-state.edu (Internet) In case of mail trouble, re-send to mark@osupyr.mast.ohio-state.edu -- Michael S.
