                        SIX-WEEK MUFFINS

15 oz. box of Raisin Bran from Norma Lancaster
 3 cups sugar Bangor, Maine
 5 cups flour
 5 tsp. soda
 2 tsp. salt
 4 eggs -- beaten
 1 qt. buttermilk
 1 cup salad oil

Combine bran, sugar and flour sifted with soda and salt in a very large bowl
or dishpan.

Add mixture of eggs, buttermilk and oil.

Mix well. May be stored in refrigerator in covered bowl for six weeks (and
hence the name).

Bake in 375-400 degree oven about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve
warm.
