After seeing the article about video devices under X, I wanted to mention that I have a parallax 1024x1280 that I got last Dec, and Parallax has still not given me working X software for it. They claim that NEWS works, but I bought it after being told that X was available only to find vapor. So as far as NeWS goes it's *definitely* more than a claim. Parallax has been pretty responsive in all our dealings with them. (for what's worth). -mike
