[comp.graphics] Computer Graphics Texts

I'm looking for a good book that will give me a semi-technical overview
of computer graphics covering raster scan displays, ray tracing,
reflectance, curves and surfaces, etc. The more general and comprehensive
the better.

I like Foley & Van Dam's book *Fundamentals of Interactive Computer
Graphics* (or something like that). I hear that the second edition
will be out in time for SIGGRAPH next month.
