hello netland: this is another request (the last went out about 18 month ago) for any public domain or academic cost molecular graphics packages. I want to be able to display (rotate, scale) and manipulate (build, regroup) complex organic molecules (not needed in REAL time, just in REASONABLE time) on any of the following hardware and software platforms. Source is preferable since the desired environment is all of the machines. All hardware platforms are both color and monochrome: decstation 3100 running ultrix and X vaxstation 3100 running VMS and uws vaxstation 3100 running vms and decwindows vaxstation 3100 running ultrix and X sun 3/50 running sun os 4.x (monochrome) sun 3/60 running sun os 4.x (color) I also REALLY want to be able to print to hard copy. We have HP 7475 Plotter DEC LJ250 DEC POSTSCRIPT Printer Our molecules to display are in a format similar to the Brookhaven Protein Database, but I can write filters till I am blue in the face. Reply to me at the below address and i will summerize to the net in about a month. Thanx Jack E.
