Has anyone out there discovered UNIRAS yet?....no!....well its supposed to be the graphics software to replace good old GINO among the academic community at least. May I suggest that someone starts up a new group called say comp.uniras (if one doesn't exist already). Rob..

Yep - we use UNIRAS 5v4 on a Sequent mainframe and Sun 3/[56]0s and a group for it would be a good idea. The device drivers and their implementation alone is specialised enough I think for a seperate group gerry pratt - workstation support - university of keele email: gerry@uk.ac.keele.seq1 * tel: 0782 621111 x 3290 -- gerry pratt - workstation support - university of keele email: gerry@uk.ac.keele.seq1 * tel: 0782 621111 x 3290

UNIRAS: it's excellent for doing nice 3-d stuff simply from a menu-driven interface. I like it! I understand that it's best when used at a function call level embedded within programs, but you can get pleasing results using it as a stand-alone module. Russell.
