While I did not mind the magnetic cards, that much, I
did have a problem or two, switching from student/courses
to press & student/courses. But at all times, when the
machine buzzed red, the volunteers would give up and let
me through.
I did however spend a wonderfull half hour with two
particularly bored volunteers outside the art exhibit.
One of these being a friend from school, they let me
in on one of their activities to pass time. During
lulls in the show, they would run various badges
(they seemed to have several) through the reader,
over and over. The figured they had logged a few
hundred "extra" attendees that day.
Security and data are in the hands of the operators
as always...
