I have a question about how CCITT Recommendation T.6 (Group 4) rasters are stored... In the Group 3 format, the end-of-line code 000000000001 is sent at the end of each horizontal line of coding. In Recommendation T.6, there is no mention of an end-of-line code. How does the reader (receiver) determine when a new scan-line begins? Is information such as width provided in the initialization procedure? It appears that by knowing the width of the raster, one can "insert" newlines into the raster. Is this correct? I believe this information would be located in Recommendation T.5, but I am currently unable to locate this document. Thanks, Andrew Werth aw0i@andrew.cmu.edu
