Here's my problem: 1) I generate 24-bit/pixel Utah RLE images from my raytracer on UNIX. 2) I can then convert them (through a hack of my own devising) to 8-bit/pixel grey level TIFF version 4 files. 3) I then download the TIFF files to my Mac. 4) I can open the files with an old version of Digital Darkroom (really pre-release) and print them out on a LW+. The picture comes out with the pixels of the original picture at about 72 dpi but the halftoning is done at the resolution of the LW+, 300 dpi. 5) How can I now transfer the image from DD to FullWrite Pro in such a way that it prints out the same as when printed from DD? I've tried inumerable combinations of saving in different formats, copying and pasting among various programs all to no avail. Any help would be helpful... --marc

It has support for printing greyscale and color. However, those dweebs at Ashton-Tate introduced a bug when they released version Fullwrite 1.1, which causes a bus error when you try to print with the 6.0 driver. Funny thing about it, Full Impact (another AT product) has the same bug! You can print greyscale with Fullwrite 1.0, though. -------------------- Disclaimer: My postings are no indication of the position of my employer, and may in some cases be quite different.
