Subject: No-heat sleeze-cake : net.cooks

The following recipe is for a "cheese cake" (some purist may think
this will be an insult to the name).
It requires *NO* cooking/oven/heat and so is useful in those situations
like student dorms (where there's always a fridge, but no oven)
or non air-conditioned apartments where one is loathe to turn on the
 oven for any reason.

CHERRY SLEEZE-CAKE

Hardware:
    Refrigerator
    Hand-held electric blender
    8" square cake dish

Crust:
    1/3 cup white sugar
    1.25 cup graham crumbs
1/3 cup butter (use 1/4 cup for more traditional light-crust)

Melt and mix butter, white sugar into graham crumbs.
In-spite of the butter, it seems to help to PAM the cake dish.
Press (not too firmly) into 8" square dish.
    Refrigerate immediately before making topping.

Filling:
    8oz (1pkg) philadelphia cream cheese
    1 envelope dream whip
    1 cup icing sugar
    1 tblsp. vanilla
    1/2 cup milk

Blend cheese, sugar, vanilla, and milk together until smooth.
Add dream whip, and blend according to dream whip instructions.
    Pour over graham crust.
Refrigerate at least 1/2 hour before adding topping.
In later attempts at this you may want to mix in some Liqueur.

Topping:
1 can cherry pie filling. (or blueberry, or...)

    Evenly spread topping on cheese.
    Refrigerate.
