(Posting this for someone who doesn't have net access) ---------------------------------------------------------- I am looking for a monochrome LCD screen that is at least 1024 pixels wide and preferably 1024 pixels high as well for an electronics project. Might anyone out there know of the existence of a commercially-available device fitting this description and, if so, the name of the manufacturer? By the way, what is the state-of-the-art in LCD screens? The best that I can find by phoning around is 640 X 480. Thanks in advance. ---------------------------------------------------------- Ping Lin ping@hub.toronto.edu

The only LCD screens I know of of that resolution are experimental. Almost everyone sells 640x480. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Brian Smokefoot "... never knowing I could shape my life brian@hpfcbdr.HP.COM like the artist paints his dreams on a canvas." - Minor Detail

I believe that either Hitachi or Toshiba - can't recall which, right now - is offering a 1024x800 LCD, which is the biggest I know of which is currently commercially available. If it doesn't HAVE to be LCD, but instead just a "flat" screen, I'd consider a plasma panel. Bob Myers KC0EW HP Graphics Tech. Div.| Opinions expressed here are not Ft.
