[comp.graphics] Looking for 1024 x 1024 LCD screen

I am looking for a monochrome LCD screen that is at least
1024 pixels wide and preferably 1024 pixels high as well
for an electronics project.
Might anyone out there know of the existence of a
commercially-available device fitting this description and,
if so, the name of the manufacturer?

By the way, what is the state-of-the-art in LCD screens?
The best that I can find by phoning around is 640 X 480.

Thanks in advance.

The only LCD screens I know of of that resolution
are experimental. Almost everyone sells 640x480.

I believe that either Hitachi or Toshiba - can't recall which, right now -
is offering a 1024x800 LCD, which is the biggest I know of which is currently
commercially available. If it doesn't HAVE to be LCD, but instead just a
"flat" screen, I'd consider a plasma panel.
