A Seminar in Advanced Computer Graphics is available at many US corporate sites. It is a class (available for credit or audit) being taught by Professor Jim Murphy at California State University, Chico, and will be transmitted by satellite beginning August 29th. I've taken the course from Jim Murphy (also via satellite) and found it to be an *excellent* course, and Murphy to be an *excellent* professor. He has an unusual ability present difficult concepts in a practical, easy-to-understand manner. The material is presented interactively, believe it or not. If you have a question during the lecture, you can call the class and ask your questions and get immediate feedback from Murphy and/or his students in class. You don't have to commute to school, don't have to find parking places, can get credit for the class if you want, and in many cases, your company picks up the tab. Best of all, you learn about 3D rendering, anti-aliasing, hidden-surface removal, shading, ray-tracing, frame-buffer architectures, texture mapping, and much more-- its the best thing since sliced-bread!! If you're interested, call Leslie Wright at (916)895-6105 for more details-- but don't delay, the class is about to start. BTW, they transmit other computer science courses, too, and even have degree programs available. Bob
