This is one of my favorite summer "salads". It's fairly easy to make, and keeps for quite a while if you don't mix all the ingredients together. agar ~2 eggs ~3 carrots ~3 stalks celery ~2 slices of ham Soften the agar by soaking it in warm water for a while. I think that 1/2 hour is plenty. I don't know how to describe how much to soak. "A hand full" comes to mind. In any case, it is up to taste, but I like the whole thing to end up about 50% agar. Scramble the eggs in a bowl and cook them so that they look like pancakes. (something like making an omlette) Cut/Julienne everything into thin strips about ~2 inches long (this includes the eggs). Mix a seasoning that consists of approximately 2 tablespoons soy sauce and 1 or 2 teaspoons sesame seed oil. Pour it on top of the salad and toss. Eat.
