I posted this article and then realized it was not obvious that I have (as opposed to want) a gif viewer unless one read the article closely, so I cancelled that article and am reposting. As an aside, I wonder what other 80386 Unix's this will run on. The main requirement would have to be that the display and virtual terminal ioctls be compatible with 386/ix. With all of the requests for gif viewers lately, I thought I'd add mine. I have a GIF viewer for 386/ix that supports 9 video modes through 800x600x16 and 360x480x256 on standard vga cards/monitors. It allows images on multiple virtual terminals.
