Some time ago I wrote a program that could scale an image up or down in size by inserting or thowing away pixels. This was OK for my needs and I didn't know any other way to do image scaling. A short time ago I found a program (no source code, though) that also scales image files, but it uses a "color-space" scaling method which which does not result in the loss of color resolution or aliasing that images from my scaling program suffered from. Just what is color-space scaling and how does it work? I can find nothing about it in the imaging/graphics books I have. -- "I'm an anthropologist, not a computer systems architect, damit!" jdm@hodge.cts.com [uunet zardoz crash]!hodge!jdm James D.
