Call for participation
EUROGRAPHICS WORKING GROUP
on
COMPUTER GRAPHICS HARDWARE
Scope and Purpose
=================
Eurographics Workshops on Graphics Hardware are developing a tradition.
After a series of very successful events in Lisbon, Amsterdam and Nice,
the fourth workshop will take place at the beginning of EG'89 conference
in Hamburg. One important result of these meetings is a well-established
communication link, used throughout the year between workers in the field.
It seems to be appropriate to establish this de facto working group formally
to provide additional support by Eurographics to hardware oriented work.
The working group is to serve as a forum for technical dialogue among
graphics hardware and systems experts. For this purpose this working group
will serve as a pool for distribution and exchange of technical information
and will organise tutorials, workshops and seminars on these topics. The
working group will meet at least once a year during the EUROGRAPHICS
Annual Event. Participation by correspondence is also possible.
Founding meeting
The founding has been organised during EUROGRAPHICS '89 in Hamburg
at the end of the Hardware Workshop. Those not having participated to the
Workshop, but interested in being members of the working group should also
express their interest in writing using the following form:
