We are interested in teaching a CAD studio next spring and would like some recommendations on software available which lets the user modify contours and land forms interactively through the mouse. Most of the packages which we have seen ask the user to modify the contour database files which probably is an unnecessary burden on the students. In particular the software should be usable with AutoCad and would also incorporate features like calculations on cut and fill, landscape elements etc..
