Can someone suggest a reference for converting raster line drawings to some type of vector format. Specifically, drawings scanned into a page scanner create a TIFF/PCX files. I need to convert these "lines" into a series of vectors for additional processing. In most cases, the lines are clean and consistent. Also, can someone suggest a reference on auto-tracing (as in Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator). This may be an alternative approach. thanks glenn -- Glenn L. I don't know exactly what you want to do, but the Adobe application "Streamline" is an auto-trace program you might be able to make use of. The package include both trace around and center line trace. Hope this helps!
