pete@Octopus.COM (Pete Holzmann) (10/14/89)
I was given an old Macbeth TR527 reflection/transmission densitometer.
Looks like it would be real handy, if only it worked right! I have no
instructions, nor an address or phone number for 'Macbeth'.
The problem it has is this: when measuring reflectance from a standard
white or black test plate, the yellow and black readings are very
different (in opposite directions) from the cyan and magenta readings.
(The latter are identical to each other.) I take it that this means
my filters are out of spec or something.
Does anybody know about this meter, or the company that makes it? I would
dearly love to get it running! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Pete
