Hi all. I'm looking for information about inexpensive graphics adapters for an IBM AT clone that would be good for solid modeling, preferably without needing to dither. I'll probably want monochrome, though of course, color would be nice. Essentially, I'd like to maximize: (# pixels)^(1/3) * (# shades of grey) / cost It's also important to me, that whatever adapter I use doesn't conflict with the hercules card I already have. I've become spoiled by "two monitor debugging" with codeview or the turbo debugger, and really don't want to go back. So I guess that roughly boils down to: I want something whose display memory is at segment 0a000h. Good library support would also be nice, but isn't crucial if the documentation for the adapter is clear. I'll give slightly preferential treatment to adapters with more than one display page. 'Not especially interested in blink attributes and the like, just grey scale. Anyone have some ideas? Any pointers appreciated...
