Does anyone have an algorithm (or subroutine) which takes a relatively small bitmap (say no bigger than 100x100), and shrinks it down by an arbitrary amount? Practical example: take a 10 point font, and shrink it to 3 point. Your typical 10 point character is about 40 dots wide at 300DPI. I want this same font to be used at 100DPI (about 12 or 13 dots wide). Granted detail will be lost, but I don't care THAT much about serifs, etc. Use E-mail if you have any suggestions; no sense in causing more net traffic than necessary.
