[comp.graphics] Book recommendations

armand@genisco.uucp (Armand Rostami) (11/11/89)

We are looking for a text on computer graphics for our engineering
library. We are considering the following books, but we are open to any
    new suggestions.
	1) COMPUTER GRAPHICS Systems and Concepts
by Rod Salmon & Mel Slater.
	2) INTERACTIVE COMPUTER GRAPHICS Functional, Procedural and
		Device-Level Methods
by Peter Burger & Duncan Gillies

We are also looking for another book on image processing. We are
hoping to find a text that contains concepts and algorithms. Again, we
already have a couple of titles in mind, but we are open to any new
    suggestions.
	1) DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING
by Rafael C. Gonzalez & Paul Wintz.
	2) THE RENDERMAN COMPANION A Programmers Guide to Realistic
		Computer Graphics
		by Steve Upstill.

Please mail me responses unless you think it is of general interest.
If there is enough interest I will summarize to the net.

				Thanks,
