(Perhaps someone in the working group?) The latest thing I > have is the public review document (rev. 2.0) of 20 Jul 1987. > Surely there must be at least one newer document. PHIGS-PLUS has been adopted by ANSI & ISO as a "work item". The same committee that produced PHIGS is working on PHIGS+. The document appeared in ACM COMPUTER GRAPHICS, perhaps that's the one you have. The PLUS stands for Plus Lumiere Und Shading, or something. It is expected to become a DP/ANS and DPIS - draft proposed {international} standard early next year. At that point anyone can get copies through CBEMA, I think. I believe the only way to get a copy at this point is to be real nice to your local PHIGS rep. It is an ANSI working document that is not out for public review. The next step on the standards line is to become a DIS, draft international standard. This is scheduled for early 1991 and at that point the technical content should be stable. Hopefully, bona fide standardization follow later that year. -Jan Hardenbergh -jch@apollo.hp.com- HP Graphics Technology Division@Apollo
