[comp.graphics] Looking for a Low Cost Fram Buffer

kory@avatar.UUCP (Kory Hamzeh) (11/11/89)

I'm looking to purchase a simple frame buffer to display 24 bit RGB
images. It must work on an AT platform. It doesn't need to be smart,
it just should be able to display an image. Cost is an issue.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Data Translation makes one, but I don't know how much it costs since I
am not interested in AT cards.

*I'm* looking for a low to medium cost (less than 10 K$) 24 bit
frame buffer that fits a VME bus; prefereably a 6U card. I'm not afraid
to write a device driver for it, so a naked card with no S/W is OK.
