(if this is not the proper group to which to post this request, forgive me) I have a high resolution colour monitor meant to run off a Symbolics lispm with a colour board. The monitor isn't behaving properly: an image appears, colour is proper and focus is good, but the image is extremely dim (if I turn off all the lights in the lab the image is better but still unusable :-). My first guess would be the high voltage power supply, but I haven't really investigated things properly yet. The monitor was manufactured by a company named Amtron, in Santa Clara CA. I checked directory assistance; they registered no listing for 'Amtron'. I really would like schematics before diving into this monitor... does anyone know anything about the described monitor or the company 'Amtron'? The moni- tor's model number is CD1903CD and it was built in late 1985. If you have any information, I would _greatly_ appreciate an email response. Amtron is now owned by Monitoerm 612-935-4151. The original engineers formes ADEX at 408-866-2077, ask for Erwin. He designed that jewel.
