I am looking for general books on PHIGS programming. I have seen at least one posting in the last month which has a good bibliography. I noticed that only two of the references are not tied to specific implementations, and that one of these is the ansi standard document and the other (Brown and Heck) is out of print. Does anyone have any other references, preferably with a generous amount of examples? In message <272@spectra.COM>, scott@spectra.COM (Tim Scott) includes a PHIGS bibliography. This is mostly included below. All but the first two are based on specific implementations. PHIGS bibliography: ------------------- Computer Graphics-Programmer's Hierarchical Interactive Graphics System (PHIGS) Functional Description. ANSI Standard X3.144-1988.
