I finally got the final ingredient in 7-layer cookies. A warning: They are very easy to make, very easy to eat, and very fattening. Don't let that stop you. __________________________________________________________________ Seven Layer Cookies (Without the butterscotch morsels they are known as Lake Wawasee Cookies.) Ingredients: 1 Stick butter (1/2 cup) 1 Cup crushed Nilla Wafers 1 Cup real chocolate chips 1 Cup butterscotch morsels 1 Cup coconut flakes 1 Cup chopped pecans 1 Cup Eagle Brand condensed milk (use Eagle Brand, because its sugary) Now comes the easy part. Melt the butter in a 9 in. square pan (best done in a microwave.). Then put in the wafers, firmly packing them on the bottom, layering the chocolate chips followed by the morsels, coconut, and finally the pecans on top of that. Now cover everything with the Eagle Brand milk, making sure to get the corners, and cook it in a preheated oven at about 350 degrees for about 25 - 30 minutes. A toothpick stuck in the middle will come out incredibly messy, so don't bother. It should be getting nice and brown on top though. Take it out and let it cool, preferably in the refrigirator. Then, slice it up and gobble. (The longer you let them wait, the firmer they get, but in my apartment they rarely last half an hour.) _______________________________________________________________________ Enjoy 'em. -- ihnp4--\ fritzz the Zebra decvax--\ akgua----\ "I yam what I yam" dcdwest---\ kgbvax-----\ ucbvax-------- sdcsvax -- sdcc3 -- fritzz
