The inquiry is, too be more precise, are there "partially published" articles such as a memo series like MITs AI Lab or progress reports to industrial sponsors? I haven't seen such from the Media Lab and wondered if such existed. Often such material comes out faster, and if the student is lazy, it might be the only source of publication. Many groups of Stanford are "guilty" :-) of partial publication.
