I think a previous discussion dealing with colour scanners and to a certain
degree, colour film scanners was dealt with here before. Yet I missed out on
most of the messages and some of the messages I did see mentioned ones like
the Nikon LS-300 (?) costing around the $10,000 range.
My question refers to whether if there are any similar scanners like the
Nikon, but without the 6144 x 4096 x millions of colours and the expensive
price that the Nikon has.
Rather, something that would fit my superVGA equipped 386sx system would
be fine - 800x600 resolution with 256 colours.
A scanner that has that minimum resolution, colours, price, and of course
that can take an image from a positive/negative film slide like the Nikon
would be great.
Please email to me if you know of any such film scanners in this range.
I'll summarize if there are a sufficient number of replies.
Thanks in advance.
