I'd like to find some references to solutions of problems of grid deformation. Suppose you have an image with an overlaid grid. The image and grid undergo some non uniform transformation. Now you want to find the delta-x and delta-y for each point in the grid. The problem can be extended to 3D grids. I thought I remembered hearing about a technique to warp an image before attempting digital subtraction (in angiography) to get the best subtraction. This seems to be a similar type operation in a strange sort of way. Any pointers?? Thanks. dsc@osteocyber.ortho.hmc.psu.edu -- David S.
