I was wondering if someone out there could give me good pointers to documents which discuss the format of TIFF files, GIF files, the IGES CAD file format, and other interesting image and CAD file formats which are commonly used. I wish to write a computer program for the Macintosh which (amongst other things) knows and can convert image files between the various common image file formats that are used out there. Another thing that I want to write is a package (for work) that is capable of parsing IGES and other common CAD file formats. I only need adequate pointers to documentation, not complete discussions. However, if you can send me a complete discussion, that would be greatly appreciated as well. Please send responces directly to me. -- William Edward Woody -------------------------------------------------------------- Apple File Edit Special Fonts Sizes -------------------------------------------------------------- +--------------------------+ +-+ |=[]== E-Mail Address =====| |S| |--------------------------| | | | woody@tybalt.caltech.edu |-------------------+ +-+ +--------------------------+= Home Address ====| XP_60 +---------------|-----------------------| |=[]== Work Addr| P.
