NO, no, no.  There is a VAST difference between short grain rice, which is
used is Chinese and Japanese cooking, and glutinous- or sticky-rice which is
used throughout East and Southeast Asia for desserts and other special dishes.

What you want to buy for your regular meals is SHORT GRAIN RICE.
Not long grain rice, NOT glutinous/sticky rice.
