An unobvious use for microwave ovens -- to warm up ice cream. No longer do you have to wait impatiently for the ice cream to become a little less icy, to get more flavor. Just pop it in the oven for EXACTLY the right number of seconds. (Start with a setting that is too short and work up one second at a time.) - Toby Robison (not Robinson!) allegra!eosp1!robison or: decvax!ittvax!eosp1!robison or (emergency): princeton!eosp1!robison
