I cannot comment on the Mitsubishi or the Seiko but do have some
experience with the NEC. Here are my opinions. You will probably
get many on this as monitors, like keyboards, have a great deal
of personal taste involved in their choice.
Nec 4D
------
Glare Resistance....................Very Good. I have seen one or
two better but not many.
Color Trueness......................Excellent. Well defined and rich.
Convergence.........................Well designed an built, this is
not a problem.
Adequate intensity..................Will reach an uncomfortably viewing
level. More than adequate.
Image stability(mode switching).....Some jumpiness and sizing change.
Varies with the modes involved but
is a minor annoyance rather than a
problem.
Image contrast......................Excellent. Rich blacks, good contrast.
Clarity.............................Excellent. Very sharp, .28 dot pitch
makes for a very nice image.
As you can tell I like the 4D. I don't use that large a monitor regularly
and so you might want to get more indepth opinions from those who work
with such on a daily basis. I found it to be an excellent monitor. The
Nec people are great too if you have questions.
Hope it helps!
