It does NOT allow you to frame-grab and image. In most cased a capture may take 6 seconds which means the image has to be still for the length of time it takes to capture it. This is just fine if you are doing still images or freeze frame your VCR or are coming from a laser disk that is in still mode but it will not work well on moving images. In most cases, the image captured from such boards looks just fine and I would have to say that you would be getting a good digitizer for the price as long an your needs do not include frame grabbing. Also, this board does not include onboard display so you MUST use YOUR video card for display. Not a problem in most cases but if you are trying to develope a freeze-frame system with it's own display, this isn't the board for you. -- Bob _______________________ Pro-Graphics BBS 201/469-0049 ________________________ InterNet: bobl@pro-graphics.cts.com | ProLine: bobl@pro-graphics UUCP: ..crash!pro-graphics!bobl | CServe: 70347,2344 ARPA/DDN: ..crash!pro-graphics!bobl@nosc.mil | Amer.
