I'm working on a small project for visualizing time series data, but I'd like to do it by rendering the data as shaded polygons. One experiment I'd like to try is to make use of the Sun Core polygon primitives, using various shading and viewing parameters. I'm not familiar with the CORE interface and was hoping somebody out there might have some example code I could look at to get started (something simple like rendering a cube using the polygon and shad- ing primitives). Does this even sound like a reasonable aproach to the prob- lem? Is there any PD software available to do the same thing? Please respond by e-mail, and thanks in advance.
