Hello everyone! I have in my posession a Super VGA card by Genoa called Genoa 5400. On that card there is an ic called ET3000AX 11038F-0005 from Tseng Laboratories. I have tried to get more info regarding this ic without success for about a year now. So now I turn to you people on the net for help. It must be someone out there who has info on this ic, what registers there are, and what the pinout is. Since no VGA card is perfect when it comes to emulate EGA and CGA I want to rewrite the software in the BIOS on the card. But withour knowledge of the interior of this ic it's hard. Thanks in advance for all replies. Sincerely Martin Forsberg d4umf@dtek.chalmers.se

It may be obtained by calling Orchid Technology, talking to tech support, and asking for the programmers reference for the Prodesigner VGA board. That's what I did, and recieved a technical reference on the Tseng chip. Orchid tech support can be reached at 415-683-0323. They were charging $15 for the manual when I bought mine 4 months ago. As for contacting Tseng Labs directly, I have no idea. The manual I have has no address or phone number for them. -J. John P. Silva "I drank WHAT?!" Inova Products, Inc.
