[comp.graphics] animation books

I've found the following book to be of pretty good value :

	Computer Animation
	Neal Weinstock
	Addison-Wesley ISBN 0-201-09438-X

It's not an animation cookbook, but more of an introduction to the
subject. It covers basic general concepts, and has code examples in
BASIC and C. The simple stuff is in BASIC, the more complex algorithms
are all in C. It has interviews with several significants in the field,
covers the history and the starry-eyed view of the future...

For an intro with a smattering of meat, it's great. If you want to know
how they did the Lady Robot or Stanly & Stella, you'll need more of a
technical source.
