[comp.graphics] Fastest graphics algorithm

I am currently doing a survey on how fast we can now render a complicated
model with available tools, both hardware and software. Has anybody
in this group ever tried this before? Does anybody know something about:

	* which ray tracer is the fastest one, 
	* which radiosity algorithm is the fastest? 
	* which ray casting machine is the fastest? 
	* which geometry engine is the fastest?
	* and above all, how fast are they? 

I know this is not a right way to ask such questions because the speed 
is always related to 

	* how complicated the model being rendered is, 
	* what machine it is running on, 
	* and how much memory it uses? 

However, it would be very interesting
to collect such information and make comparisons. So I shall
appreciate it very much if anybody could provide such information by
e-mail me please. I will summarise if there are enough response.
