[comp.graphics] filled vectors

I hope this is the right group..

We're planning to make a general vector graphics utility to use for
various purposes (displaying text to 3D simulation). The mathematics
are quite clear to us, but we're wondering about filled vector graphics.
What would be an efficient way of implementing them? What about
perspective - is there a really good algorithm available?
Just asking for ideas in general, regardless of the machine. Thank you...
