I have received a brochure on the Video Expo being held in Chicago July 23-27, 1990 co-sponsored by The North American Television Institute, Computer Aided Graphics Multimedia & Presentations and Knowledge Industry Publication, Inc. (I think). The seminars listed seem to cover technology in video and computers, as well as art and design for the layman and the advanced (as I am coming from an art oriented background I do not qualify for the technically advanced). This of course, gleaned from the brochure selling the seminar. It appears seminars & workshops are offered that would be very informative and educational. But as I will be spending personal funds to attend and for transportation to Chicago, I would like to know if anyone has attended a previous Video Expo and what your feelings were as to the quality of the seminars, the speakers and the exhibit? Is it widely attended within the industry? Any information anyone can give will be greatly appreciated to help make a decision before trying to come up with this much $$ of my own. As I have been studying & working towards going into computer graphics (which I would like to do soon) I am willing to go out on a limb to learn as much as I can...but am hesitant to spend so much and possibly be disappointed. Thanks for any information anyone can provide. Jeanne Kintner MCC - Software Technology Program kintner@mcc.com
