Does anyone have any experience with digitizing tablets and software for the Mac II? Any thoughts on the Wacom SD-420L? I have a client who wants to trace some maps for a SuperCard project. Please mail me any thoughts and I will summarize any interesting revelations to the net. Jeff Perry Humanities Specialist C.I.T. / Princeton University JEFF@PUCC.PRINCETON.EDU (609) 258-6009

Not me, but I have managed to get data from several brands of tablets on several brands of machines. > Any thoughts on the Wacom SD-420L? Wacom makes the best tablets I've ever seen. Their wireless pucks and pens are wonderful to use. They are so sensitive that I've used one (not on purpose) to detect footsteps in the hall outside my office. A few months ago, I had posted an article requesting any 3-d molecular databases, to which I had received several replies, including what looked like would be some interesting molecules (DNA,ZDNA,"Silver Pheasant", etc.). However, during a disk transfer/addition, all my old mail got lost, along with EVERY 3-d molecule, as well as the addresses of those who sent them. So, would those who sent me molecules before be so kind as to send them again. I apologize profusely for this....I really did intend to extract those files from my mailbox, but never got around to it. ---Prem Subrahmanyam

I suggest you use magnetic tape from now on.
