Hi Netters: I am looking for a set of basic Graphical objects that will suffice to define any (read, most) line diagram. I have looked at packages such as MacDraw, Fig etc. which all seem to provide a set of objects, attributes and so on. My question is, is there a set of objects (Polygon, Ellipse, Point etc.), that is proven theoritically to be sufficient to describe any picture? I, ofcourse, exclude images such as photographs. Only diagrams such as pictures of equipment. I was told of GKS. I am not familiar with it. Could someone send/post references please? I'll post a summary of what I receive. Thanks. Kumar.
