I was given one for two weeks to test. I wasn't specificaly interested
in the graphics, but after a week of locating bugs, we were informed by
the local Scientific Center that our salesoffice had a slightly older
version of the OS. We have "9013" and the PASC had "9020" which fixed
a fair number of the bugs. Still, we had no problems installing it onto
our net. If AIX isn't Unix (U*X wars), then perhaps you have spent more
time on more BSD based machines.
Yes, xlc and xlf (C and Fortran compilers) took a bit adaptation, but
our machine wasn't bad considering the price. There are people who will
give a more glowing opinion, but they probably didn't hang the machine
as many times as we did.
